Daily Check-In
A simple way to connect with yourself — and perhaps someone else
At the end of each day, take a moment to pause and name two emotions you’ve felt.
They might be light or heavy, clear or complicated — there’s no right or wrong.
The practice is simple:
-
Reflect
Before the day ends, notice what emotions have been most present for you.
Example: “I felt hopeful and I also felt overwhelmed.” -
Share
Express those two emotions to your partner (or someone you trust). -
Listen
Hold space when they share their two emotions back.
This ritual helps you:
-
Build emotional awareness 🌿
-
Foster deeper connection with your partner
-
Create space for honesty without needing long explanations
It’s amazing how just two words can open a doorway to real connection.
✨ Want to try it tonight? Before bed, pause and ask:
‘What two emotions did you feel most today?’
